This is an amazing picture!! I am again wish Eng. J for his successful view via camera eye. Everyone can operate the camera. But, there is some standards to get pictures like this. Eng. J got everything in his mind and view. I am so impressed by his works at Flickr.

Eye is the only tool which conveys once mind’s thought. May I know what type of tree this is? and What causes the formation of eye?

    Keep it up…

    Happy capturing 🙂

  2. Salam everyone and thanks for sharing your views about my photography.
The name of this tree is Alizziba Lebbick Benthic. I hope i am correct with botanical spellings (commonly know as Shareen with bushy flowers and low-tone fragrance. The tree is in abundance in Southren Punjab)
Picture was taken in Sama Satta at my house. The mark has changd slightly in shape now. Trees really grow fast. The mark appears as a result of an axe-cut to remove an offshoot branch.
However, i see it as the Eye of Nature,a sign from nature itself on how we are wasting natural resources for sake of our so called development. An eye to tell us that when ever we commit a harm an eye is there to see it.
The picture remained a hot topic in the Enviornmental and Horticultural Society of University of Engineering and technology, Lahore and most humbly i say that i got the first prize and title of best photographer in university for year 2006.
Last but not the least, let me credit the motivation of my mother :She really forced me to take the picture of this wonder.
